About Us
Who Are We
Transition Homeless Project is a non-profit organisation based in North West London. We are committed to transforming the lives of individuals experiencing poverty, at risk of eviction, homeless or rough sleeping. Our soups kitchen is available for male and female individuals. We also provide a women’s only service especially for women who have experienced domestic abuse.
- Preventing homelessness on the streets.
- Providing hot meals and a safe hub.
- Assisting females facing poverty or unexpected homelessness due to relationship breakdown or domestic abuse.
We particularly address the causes that push women into homelessness, such as poverty, domestic abuse or mental health. We provide trauma informed care offering a women’s only drop-in service which creates a warm safe space to connect.
Women are often invisible ‘hidden homeless,’ they tend to sofa surf, or sleep in hidden places. We primarily focus on women due to the lack of safety and dangers they encounter rough sleeping.
Tailored support is available to help individuals gain skills for employment with our bespoke careers programme providing careers support and training.
Our support is long-term helping individuals to transition towards a brighter future and thrive in the community.
